I was almost going to opt out of taking myself to Monkey Jungle tomorrow when I realized I wouldn’t get to actually have one-on-one contact with the monkeys (Capuchins and Squirrel Monkeys) unless I pay $80 for a rainforest tour which is something I cannot possibly afford at the moment but while laying in bed watching Law and Order SVU I realized “fuck it” and even though I’ll be the most deserving person in that establishment of a free OR AT LEAST discounted rainforest tour (I mean, I am an aspiring primatologist…throw me a fucking bone) I’ll be just as happy walking around watching them from afar as I always have and hopefully one day I’ll be able to be the tree that a little Capuchin climbs all over.
Oh and you best believe I’m bringing my 35mm.
